Lip Blush Healing Process

Congratulations on your Lip Blush procedure at El Zorro Tattoo and Piercing! The journey to luscious, perfectly tinted lips has begun, and we are here to guide you through the healing process for optimal results.

Immediate Post-Procedure Care:

  1. Avoid Touching: Keep your hands clean and refrain from touching your freshly tinted lips to prevent the risk of infection.

  2. Gentle Cleansing: Use a mild, unscented cleanser to clean the lip area with a cotton pad or swab. Be gentle, and avoid any rubbing or scrubbing.

  3. Apply Recommended Ointment: Use the provided or recommended ointment to apply a thin layer over your lips. This helps in preventing infection and keeps your lips moisturized.

First Week After Lip Blush:

  1. No Water Exposure: Avoid getting your lips wet for the first week. This includes minimizing water exposure during face washing and avoiding swimming pools.

  2. Be Cautious with Food and Drinks: Be mindful of what you eat and drink during the initial healing period. Avoid hot, spicy, and salty foods, as well as drinking through straws.

  3. No Sun Exposure: Protect your lips from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Use a lip balm with SPF if you need to be outdoors.

  4. Avoid Makeup on Lips: Refrain from applying any makeup, including lip products, on the treated area during the first week.

Second Week and Beyond:

  1. Natural Peeling: Your lips may go through a natural peeling process. Do not pick at the peeling skin to prevent scarring or pigment loss.

  2. Moisturize Regularly: Continue to keep your lips moisturized with a recommended balm to promote healing and maintain the vibrancy of the lip blush.

  3. Limit Sun Exposure: Even after the initial healing period, it's advisable to protect your lips from prolonged sun exposure to maintain the longevity of the pigment.
